Grid View Editor

The Grid View Editor in Tuney offers a linear editing workflow similar to industry-standard DAWs like Ableton’s Arrangement View, Logic Pro, or Pro Tools. It allows for detailed track editing, giving you precise control over the structure and mix of your song. Whether you're adjusting individual elements or refining the overall sound, the Grid View Editor provides the flexibility you need.

Editing Your Track

Click the "Edit" button on any track in Tuney to open up the Editor, where you can further customize your track. This tool provides several key features:

  1. Modify the Length, Tempo or Key

Change the Length or BPM of the track to fit your track for a variety of use cases. Change the length of your track in order to fit it for different video content lengths, or change the tempo to alter the energy level of the track. Finally, try changing the key to fit different vocals or additional loop samples.

  1. Adjust the Vocal Start

If you are editing a remix of a vocal track, you will have the option to adjust the timing of the vocal to fit your remix perfectly.

For more information about Tuney's remixing features, read the Remix a Song article.

  1. Customize your Track's Arrangement

Change the arrangement of different sections of your track (Intro, Verse, Bridge, Chorus) to fit your unique needs. Try starting your song with an intro by gradually introducing one instrument at a time, or captivating your audience immediately by starting directly with the chorus.

  1. Adjust the Instrument Mix

Modify the levels of different instruments by using the volume sliders, or the "Solo" and "Mute" features. Solo will lower the volumes of all the instruments except the one selected, while Mute will lower the volume of that specific instrument. Use these advanced mixing techniques to achieve the perfect balance in your track.

  1. Remove Specific Elements

If you don't like a specific element at certain points of the track, click the trash can icon at the top right of the element in order to remove it from your track.

Once you complete making your desired changes, make sure to hit "Regenerate" in the top right corner to confirm and save your changes.
