Welcome to Tuney! We're happy to have you here. This article describes the main functions of the platform.

What is Tuney?

Tuney is a browser-based generative music platform. Tuney's AI understands how to assemble human created stems and loops into finished tracks. Tuney uses high quality loops produced by artists from around the world. Unlike AI music generators which use music as training material to generate completely new tracks, Tuney's musical outputs feature the original loops in our Sounds library. As a result, you will see artist credits for each track you generate. You can even explore artists, listening to their sounds and the tracks they're featured in. Tuney's Beat Swap feature allows you to upload your own sounds (just vocals, for now) and create remixes and variations instantly.

Beat Swap

Beat Swap is a feature that generates new instrumentals or beats based on an uploaded vocal track. It works best when you upload an entire song, with a vocal. It then separates the vocal from the original instrumental, conducts a music analysis and generates remixes in different genres. You can even specify the genre by clicking "Generate more" at the bottom of the results page.

Tracks

The Tracks section lets you generate instrumental tracks, assembled from our library of artist created Sounds. You can generate tracks by using natural language search (prompting)

or switch to tag based search on the left side of the search bar to use filters like genre, mood and tempo.

The tracks section gives you a variety of editing, sharing and download options to choose from. For more details on these features, read the Tracks Tutorial article.

Playlists

You can save tracks to playlists, and share or download your playlists from the Playlists section.

Account

In the account section, you can find your account details as well as billing information and upgrade options. You can also log out of Tuney from here.

Subscription Tiers

You can try Tuney completely free, with limited access to features. We also have 2 paid subscription plans which include monthly credits and expanded features like longer track length, high fidelity WAV files and studio quality audio stems.
